MapMyRide (MMR) Terms & Conditions

MapMyRide provide a vehicle remapping service that is either installed via an OBD download or the installation of an engine management chip.

All work is carried out by a trained, qualified and insured installer.

• On booking a remap we ask for a deposit that is non refundable
• Payment is due on the day of installation by cash, debit or credit card
  
  
  MMR Warranty
  
  1. Limited Warranty
  MMR warrants that the mapping Products and Services sold hereunder will be free from defects in material and workmanship for the lifetime of the Product. If the Product does not conform to this Limited Warranty, the original purchaser (Buyer) shall notify MMR in writing of the claimed defects and demonstrate to MMR's satisfaction that said defects are covered by the Limited Warranty. If the defects are properly reported to MMR, and the defects are of such type and nature as to be covered by this Limited Warranty, MMR shall at its own expense furnish a replacement Product or, at MMR's option, replacement parts for the defective Product. Shipping and installation of the replacement Product or parts shall be at the Buyer's expense. This Limited Warranty applies only to the original purchaser and is not transferable.
  
  2. Other Limits
  THE FOREGOING IS IN LIEU OF ALL OTHER WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO THE IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURCHASE. MMR does not warrant against damages or defects arising out of improper or abnormal use or handling of the Product; against defects or damages arising from improper installation (where installation is by persons other than MMR employees), against defects in products or components not manufactured by MMR, or against damages resulting from such non- MMR made products or components. MMR passes on to the Buyer the warranty it receives (if any) from the maker thereof of such non- MMR made products or components. This warranty also does not apply to Products upon which repairs have been affected or attempted by persons other than employees of MMR unless such repairs are authorized in writing by MMR.
  
  3. Exclusive Obligation
  THIS LIMITED WARRANTY IS EXCLUSIVE. The sole and exclusive obligation of MMR shall be to repair or replace the defective Product in the manner and for the period provided above. MMR shall not have any other obligation with respect to the Product or any part thereof, whether based on contract, strict liability or otherwise. Under no circumstances, whether based on the Limited Warranty or otherwise, shall MMR be liable for incidental, special or consequential damages.
  
  4. Other Statements
  ORAL OR WRITTEN STATEMENTS BY MMR'S EMPLOYEES OR REPRESENTATIVES DO NOT CONSTITUTE WARRANTIES, shall not be relied upon by the Buyer, and are not part of the contract for sale or this Limited Warranty.
  
  5. Entire Obligation
  The Limited Warranty states the entire obligation of MMR with respect to the Product. If any part of the Limited Warranty is determined to be void or illegal, the remainder shall remain in full force and effect.
  Most MMR products have the speed limiters increased. It is the buyer's responsibility to ensure that the vehicle is not driven faster than the speed rating of the tires on the vehicle in which the MMR product is installed and that the maximum speed rating of the engine is not exceeded. In no case will MMR be held liable if the Buyer exceeds these limits.

PLEASE NOTE THAT IT IS THE OWNERS RESPONSIBILITY TO ADVISE THEIR INSURANCE COMPANY OF ANY PERFORMANCE MODIFICATIONS TO THEIR CAR.

Any modifications may invalidate the manufacturers or aftermarket warranty; it is the owner’s responsibility to check before any work is carried out on the vehicle.

Modifications to your vehicle may well improve the performance and as such it is the owners responsibility to take advise on such items as brakes, suspension and tyres to name a few, in the interest of driver and passenger safety. As an example pay attention to speed rating on tyres if the vehicle’s top speed is improved.
